The resort started life as a small fishing village which has grown to meet the property requirements of the tourist and resident population, without losing that local touch which is so important. There are some fine fish restaurants offering a wide range of beautifully prepared local produce, in lovely picturesque surroundings, with the sound of the waves on the sea shore as background music. In this area the properties for sale there are small complexes which offer a limited exclusive range of properties, but these have to be taken quickly if that is where you would like to buy, as they go quickly. Nearby you have the Costa Adeje Golf Course which is internationally famous, giving you the chance to play golf in surroundings that are second to none, with the magnificent Roque del Conde as a backdrop to the golf course and villas overlooking the world famous course. There are excellent sea sports and paragliding available locally to give the taster or the experienced enthusiast a chance to enjoy their favourite pastime. There is a pathway along the coast that goes right up to Los Cristianos, with lots of little nooks and crannies on the way for you to investigate. Try to find a favourite restaurant or bar, or that shop offering exactly what you were looking for!
